How do you identify the tasks to assign to your independent assistant?
Often the first question from a new prospect is: "What more can you do for me? I'll give you some answers, some of which may be obvious and some of which may not!
When a potential client contacts an independent assistant, they are busy, overworked, and even overwhelmed by all they have to do. They are already doing too much, but know that to grow their business they need to find a way to do even more. They need help but are so used to doing everything themselves that they struggle to identify what they could entrust to an outsider.
(If you recognize yourself even a little, read on!)

Does this sound like you?
If so, here's a little "tool" to help you identify what you could eliminate, automate or delegate so that you have more time to do what you love to do and do best.

Delegate & Elevate™️
Here's how it works:
Step 1. Make a comprehensive list of everything you spend time doing.
Really write down everything you do, not just the tasks you want to delegate. The idea is to get a complete and real picture of your workload.
Step 2. Place each item on your list into one of the four sections of the Delegate & Elevate™️ tool:
"Love/Great" is where you place the things you love to do and are very good at doing.
"Like/Good" is for the things you like to do and are good at.
"Don't Like/Good" is for tasks you don't like and don't do well.
"Don't Like/Not Good" is for tasks you don't like and are not particularly good at.
Step 3. Delegate everything in the bottom half of the sheet to someone else.
Any task you don't like and/or aren't particularly good at is something you shouldn't be doing and could delegate to someone competent, such as a freelance assistant; this allows you to operate in your comfort zone at all times and put all your energy into doing what you set out to do in the first place.
Why not contact me to discuss together how I can help you with those tasks you're ready to delegate?
